Negative

For making negative of past indefinite tense we add helping verb “did” and “not” after the Subject. According to the rule, in a negative sentence, we use 1st form of the verb instead of 2nd form as we have used in making affirmative sentences. How to identify Past Indefinite Tense in Hindi?
